About Me

My Experience

The first part of my career was spent as a print designer - designing, illustrating & editing magazines, textbooks, packaging and various business collateral. I expanded to web a few years ago, and have combined my unique blend of editorial, print design, coding & writing experience into managing content for websites and social media.

My Skillset

Over 25 years of experience with graphic design, writing and illustration. Extensive use of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Content Management Systems (Tridion, Ingeniux, Wordpress), HTML, CSS. In addition, have constructed online surveys with Maritz CX and other survey platforms, and run/designed results reports. I also have experience with social media marketing, Google analytics, copy editing, writing, and proofreading.

Web Design/Content Management

Content Management for CAE Healthcare (now Elevate Healthcare)

Managed the content for CAEHealthcare.com (now Elevate Healthcare); including - content management, asset tracking, structure and taxonomy creation, page building and creation, site redesign/reskinning, templating and content optimization.

Content Management for Becton Dickinson

Had a key role in the convergence of BD's legacy website and newly acquired CareFusion's web content into the new bd.com site; including - content management, asset tracking, structure and taxonomy creation, page building and creation, templating and content optimization. Involved working on global sites, as well as the worldwide (U.S.) site.

Content Management for State Farm's Jurisdictional guides

Had a key role in the development of new Fire, Casualty and Auto Jurisdictional guides for U.S. States. Supported the creation, maintenance and deployment of the content within the State Farm intranet, using SDL Tridion, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, and SharePoint. The State Farm intranet is mainly educational and legal in nature, and maintaining an error rate of less than 1% is imperative.

This client, a Christian counselor based in Midland Park, NJ had a very specific idea in mind for her website. It's a work in progress, that she likes to update regularly. Light the Way's website.

Website for an independent, small scale artist in Georgia. Wanted a simple, fun, natural-looking site. All Nature's Images website.
